Fiber optic pedestals provide a protective, above-ground enclosure for housing fiber optic splice closures or termination boxes in outdoor access networks. Made from durable, UV-resistant polymer, these pedestals protect internal fiber hardware from environmental exposure and impact. An internal metal mounting bar allows secure attachment of termination boxes. Installed into a concrete base, the pedestal remains firmly anchored for long-term outdoor use and is commonly used in FTTH, FTTx, and utility networks to protect critical fiber infrastructure at ground level.
