This small standard footprint adapter with a flange or no flange is made of high-grade casing materials for durability. This design offers a quick and easy solution to extend fiber optic cables or connectors or to terminate an existing run of fiber optic cabling.
LC duplex adapters are versatile and fit most patch panels, wall-mounts, racks, and adapter plates. Our aqua LC duplex adapters fit standard simplex SC cutouts for patch panels, cassettes, adapter plates, wall-mounts and more. These adapters have the most common footprint, and as such will fit universally into any company’s product which adheres to the current fiber optic standards. Fiber optic adapters perfectly connect two connectors, allowing the light sources to be transported at their maximum and minimizing loss to the greatest extent. Fiber optic adapters also benefit from low insertion loss, easy interchangeability, and reproducibility.
At Fibertronics, Inc. we offer two variations of LC duplex adapters including full flange and reduced flange. Full flange adapters offer additional stability by screw-mounting, whereas the reduced flange adapters allow for a smaller footprint within adapter plates.
