This CLETOP replacement cartridge is designed to be used with CLETOP ferrule cleaning cassettes that can be refilled to reduce cleaning costs. The white color-coded, anti-static coarse weave 2μm dry cloth in this cartridge will clean 2.5mm ferrules.
They use densely woven micro-fiber cleaning fabrics to remove harmful contaminates off of the ferrule end face.
The CLETOP Type A cassette cleaning tool will accommodate all single fiber connections. The CLETOP Type A is designed to clean both singlemode and multimode ferrules on SC, FC, and ST connectors.
The CLETOP-S Type B cassette cleaning tool will accommodate all single fiber and multi fiber connections. The CLETOP-S Type B is designed to clean ferrules on LC, MU, MTRJ and MTP® / MPO connectors.
The anti-static cloth material produces a pristine fiber tip and minimizes contaminant attraction. The cleaning fabric is pre-washed and produces less than 70 pcs/CFM of particles > 1mm in size, making this system excellent for use in any production environment including clean rooms.
To ensure consistent high-quality cleaning performance, it is recommended that the authentic CLETOP replacement cartridge reel be used.
