This is a 1RU (Rack Unit) Patch Panel. Fibertronics, Inc. offers additional options including a 2U, 3U and 4U version. This is a full P-Type compatible patch panel that accommodates P-Type Slim Cassettes. These units have a pull-out tray and offer full access from the front. It Improves front access for lower installation cost and maintenance cost. These units also have a full smoked clear, front hinged access panel. For the best access to fiber connections, the sliding drawer of the fiber enclosure slides to the front. It can function as a cross-connect or interconnect in a primary or horizontal distribution region, as a transition from backbone cabling to distribution switching, or as an interconnect to active equipment.
