PLC Splitters are Singlemode splitters with an even split ratio from one input fiber to multiple output fibers. This PLC Splitter is a 1x16, with 1 input and 16 output fibers with an even split ratio across all fibers regardless of input wavelength. PLC Splitters are available with 900µm loose tube singlemode fiber and terminated or unterminated as per your needs. Unconnectorized PLC splitters come with no connectors for easy splicing or connectorization.

A PLC splitter is based on PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology and is suitable for high density applications. PLC splitters make it possible for the transmission power at each splitter output port to be the identical, simplifying network architecture and lowering expenses. By allowing a single PON Interface to be shared by multiple subscribers, optical splitters have played an essential role in passive optical networks. The optical fiber splitter divides the fiber optic light into numerous sections at a specific ratio. The PLC splitter takes minimal distortion during usage due to its small form and bending insensitive cables, ensuring stable optical transmission.
