SC shuttered duplex adapters allow you to mate two duplex SC cables while maintaining precise SC duplex alignment. Our SC shuttered adapters fit standard SC cutouts for patch panels, cassettes, adapter plates, wall mounts and more. These adapters are the standard for the telecom industry, and work with applications such as pigtails, splitters, and PLCs.
Fibertronics offers a variety of high-quality beige SC shuttered simplex adapters, also known as SC mating sleeves. These are bulkhead adapters that mount into patch panels and adapter plates. Like our other adapters we offer two variations of SC shuttered adapters, simplex and duplex. Simplex adapters are designed fit a standard SC simplex footprint and duplex adapters are designed fit a standard SC duplex footprint.
Our shuttered adapters come with a spring-loaded shutter on the external side of the adapter. This shutter prevents eye hazards and keeps the sleeve free of dirt and debris when not in use. Standard plug-style dust caps are installed on the rear-facing side. These beige SC shuttered duplex adapters fit standard duplex SC cutouts for patch panels, cassettes, adapter plates and more. These adapters are the standard wherever SCs are used in space-saving, priority situations, such as in 12 fiber SC cassettes and other rack-mounted options.
