LC shuttered duplex adapters are versatile and fit a majority of patch panels, wall-mounts, racks, and adapter plates. Our beige LC shuttered duplex adapters fit standard simplex SC cutouts for patch panels, cassettes, adapter plates, wall-mounts and more. These adapters have the most common footprint; therefore, they will fit universally into any company’s product that adheres to the current fiber optic standards.
At Fibertronics, Inc. we offer two variations of our beige LC shuttered duplex adapters including full flange and reduced flange. The full flange adapters offer additional stability by screw-mounting, whereas the reduced flange adapters allow for a smaller footprint within the adapter plates. We also offer two other variations of LC shuttered adapters, duplex, and quad. Duplex adapters are designed to fit a standard SC simplex footprint and quad adapters are designed to fit a standard SC duplex footprint.
Our shuttered adapters come with a spring-loaded shutter on the external side of the adapter. This shutter prevents eye hazards and keeps the sleeve free of dirt and debris when not in use. Standard plug-style dust caps are installed on the rear-facing side. Our beige LC shuttered duplex adapters are designed to fit a standard SC simplex footprint.
