This is a high-quality Brocade QSFP-8LC-AOC-0501 Compatible 40G QSFP+ Breakout to 4 duplex LC, AOC (Active Optical Cable). A cost-effective solution that provides high bandwidth and transmission rates over short distances. QSFP+ to 8x LC AOC cable is a 40GBase QSFP+ hybrid optical cable. A side is a QSFP+ optical connector, B side is 4 SFP+ optical connectors. It’s an application together with SFP+ Transceiver. The QSFP+ Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a high performance, low power consumption integrated cable ideal for short-range multi-lane data communication and interconnect applications, supporting 40G Ethernet. Each AOC active fiber optic cable is 100% optically inspected and tested for compatability before shipping.
